  • Michael has been working with Food Forest Abundance since 2021, and as a regional team leader, has completed detailed work for many dozens of clients located in many ecosystems.

  • Michael discovered sustainability and permaculture design while studying Design and Geography in 2006, and has since been involved in ecologically restorative projects around the US and internationally. From WWOOFing in New England, spending time on eco-villages in Costa Rica and Thailand, to orcharding in Oregon and installing food gardens for clients throughout the West, Michael has a wealth of experience in permaculture design and practice. His primary interests are in small-scale and urban agriculture, earthworks, community building, and integrated social and natural systems.

  • Michael achieved his Permaculture Design Certificate from Living Mandala in Berkeley in 2010, and studied Advanced Design for Future Climates with Andrew Millison at Oregon State in 2018.
